If you wish to import the data from your current version of Problem Tracker into the new version, perform the following steps:
1. Rename your Problem Tracker folder to Problem Tracker(old) or something similar.
2. Start the new Problem Tracker. Click Details to bring up the Client Details screen.
3. Choose Import from the File Menu
4. Choose the client file from your older version of Problem Tracker. Click OK.
5. All of the fields should be lined up with each other. Some will be deselected - that's ok. Click "Replace Data in Current Found Set" and then click Import.
6. It will then ask if you want to perform Auto-entering of serial numbers, etc. Do NOT choose this option. Simply leave the checkbox empty and click OK.
7. Choose problem from the Windows menu. Perform steps 3 to 6 - make sure you choose your old probem file instead of the client file.
8. Choose action from the Windows menu. Perform steps 3 to 6 - make sure choose your old action file instead of the client file.
